Training is underway for California dentists to administer the COVID-19 vaccines. This comes as the state works to increase the number of people who get vaccinated by adding dentists to the list of health care providers who can give the shots. Dentists are required to take a three-hour self-paced training. After completing the training, dentists get a certification to administer the vaccines. The shots, however, won’t be given in the dentist’s offices but rather at clinics…
