Cairns dentist cops huge fine after serious infection breaches – Brisbane Times
A Cairns dentist and his practice have been hit with a huge fine after poor sterilisation of instruments exposed hundreds of patients to potential infection.
Cairns and Hinterland Hospital and Health Service medical services executive director Don Mackie said the strong fines showed how seriously the service took infection control.
