Byron Bay’s Bluesfest cancelled amid Queensland COVID outbreak

Byron Bay’s Bluesfest has been cancelled for the second-straight year due to the COVID-19 pandemic.

The four-day festival hung on tenterhooks after a case of the virus was detected in the northern New South Wales town on Wednesday – a day before it was set to begin.

The case is related to an outbreak in Queensland.
