Crack down harder. That’s the advice of one of league’s veteran journalists after this nasty cannonball tackle from Canterbury’s Reimis Smith which saw Broncos’ skipper Alex Glenn ruled out for a big chunk of the season.
During Saturdays clash, Smith tackled Glenn while he was being held up by two Dogs players. Smith then attacks around the knee of Glenn who goes down in pain.

Thats a cannonball tackle. How longs he out for? Six to eight weeks?
What caused it? Ive noticed an increase in cannonball tackles since they changed the rules this year. So until they need to come down heavier on incidents and stop giving blokes just a week.
