Bushfire warnings at Red Gully and Wundowie near Perth downgraded to watch and act
Bushfire emergency warnings for two fires near Perth, at Red Gully to the north and Wundowie in the east, have both been downgraded to watch and act.

- A watch and act is also in place for parts of Mimegarra, Regans Ford, Orange Springs and Cowalla in the Red Gully region
- Both fires were downgraded from emergency warning level
About 150 firefighters are working on the Wundowie blaze, about 70 kilometres from Perth, which authorities had warned was threatening lives and homes earlier today.
A watch and act is now in place for the town of Wundowie, covering an area bounded by Coates Road, Oyston Road, Douglas Road to Chedaring Road, Doys Road and north of Burma Road.
