Bushfire threatens lives, homes at Red Gully in Shire of Gingin, north of Perth

A bushfire emergency warning has been issued for part of Red Gully in the Shire of Gingin, north of Perth.
The warning is for people north of Marri Heights Road, south of Dandaragan-West Road and east of Cowalla Road.
Lives and homes are under threat as the out-of-control and fast-moving fire approaches the area in changing conditions, authorities say.
The fire started near the intersection of Mogumber Road West, and Brand Highway in Red Gully.
A number of roads in the area have been closed.
