One year ago today, a fast moving bushfire flared out of control in Cooroibah, creating a tense week of unprecedented bushfires in the area.
Thousands of residents were evacuated from Cooroibah, Ringtail Creek, Tewantin and Noosa North Shore.
Over 200 firefighters battled to save homes and property.
Cooroibah residents Holly and David Kemp, relive that heartbreaking weekend, which resulted in losing their family home.
