Bus passenger in hospital with puncture wound to chest after Valley incident

Police said the woman fled the scene on foot towards Brunswick Street Mall, where she was found off Bonney Lane about 6pm.
The man was taken to hospital in a stable condition, however high-acuity response paramedics were also in the ambulance, the QAS said.
The Department of Transport and Main Roads’ QLDTraffic service said the left south-east bound lane of Brunswick Street was closed shortly after the incident but reopened about 30 minutes later.
A council spokesperson said the pair had been passengers on the bus.
“The incident has been reported to police, and council will co-operate fully with their investigation,” the spokesperson added.
