Bump star Peter Thurnwald mentors Gold Coast actors after screen success

Peter Thurnwald’s parents were taken by surprise when he ditched his science degree to pursue an acting career.

The 23-year-old is part of a diverse young cast who made their television debut in the hit teen pregnancy drama, Bump.

“It’s an unorthodox career, that no-one in our family is in. So the fact that their kid’s an actor is, I think, a bit weird to them,” Thurnwald said.
