Second consecutive day of Queensland’s Sheffield Shield clash with South Australia in Brisbane abandoned due to a wet outfield

A sodden outfield has seen play called off for the second consecutive day in the Marsh Sheffield Shield match between Queensland and South Australia at Brisbane’s Ian Healy Oval.
Tuesday had already been lost to inclement weather as rainfall lashed Queensland’s south-east.
While Wednesday dawned brighter, umpires decided the ground was still in no state to start the fixture.
An earlier (10am AEDT) start has been slated for Thursday.
