Stand-in Bulldogs captain Will Hopoate and superstar Rabbitohs fullback Latrell Mitchell have gotten caught up in a heated opening-half scuffle.
It all started when Mitchell, holding onto the back of Hopoate’s jersey, repeatedly bashed him into the turf in a tackle in the 21st minute.
The former NSW Blues centre clearly didn’t like the treatment, striking back by ripping off Mitchell’s left boot and throwing it away as players from both sides raced in from all directions.
