Bulldogs hit with $20,000 fine for handling of Lachlan Lewis head knock – Fox Sports
The Bulldogs have been issued a $20,000 fine by the NRL after failing to immediately remove Lachlan Lewis from the field following a head knock in the team’s round…
Lewis sustained the head knock after colliding with the hip of South Sydney winger Josh Mansour in the sixth minute of the game and was attended to by the trainer after initially being helped by Rabbitohs players.
The Bulldogs playmaker remained on the field though for an entire set before the trainer ran back onto the field and brought Lewis off for a head injury assessment.
