Bulk carrier MV Emerald Indah sets sail for Indonesia after COVID-positive crewman taken ashore

A bulk carrier off Perth’s coast has been turned away from WA and is sailing back to Indonesia after one of its crew members tested positive for COVID-19.

The man, in his 50s, was brought ashore and taken to Geraldton hospital before being flown to Royal Perth Hospital earlier this week.
