#BUDERIM | Sadly overnight a 22 year old man has died when his car came in contact with a tree on Maroochydore road.
a 22-year-old man lost his life after his vehicle crashed into a tree at Buderim.
Initial investigations suggest a black BMW coupe was travelling east at speed along Maroochydore Road when it left the roadway and crashed into a tree.
A 22-year-old Diddillibah man, who was the sole occupant of the coupe, died at the scene.
Investigators of the crash are appealing for anyone who has dashcam footage to contact police.
