Bruce Highway traffic in Queensland at a standstill after police officer killed

A police officer has been killed trying to stop a suspected stolen car in Queensland.
The 53-year-old officer died attempting to stop the car on the Bruce Highway north of Brisbane shortly after 3am on Saturday.
Queensland Police said the road was closed as emergency services responded.
