PROVIDENCE – Brown University has received a $25 million gift to research brain science.
Brown says the gift, from an anonymous donor, will support research in computational brain science, enabling the university to attract and retain top teachers and scholars.
It will also endow an innovation awards program at the university’s Robert J. and Nancy D. Carney Institute for Brain Science to provide seed funding for new research in computation and other areas of brain science, Brown said in a news release.
