Broncos recruit Albert Kelly has been dumped to a feeder club after presenting at training out of shape, Brisbane coach Kevin Walters has revealed.
Kelly, 29, had to complete a two-week quarantine after arriving back in Australia from a stint in the UK’s Super League.
The five-eighth is on a train-and-trial deal with the Broncos but has lasted a matter of days running with the NRL squad due to excess weight, Walters said. His Brisbane deal was revealed late last month.
