Broncos fire up after secret Tigers raid revealed — ‘neither player has been given permission’
Brisbane has leapt to the defence of star players Jamayne Isaako and Tevita Pangai Jr after foxsports.com.au revealed the pair had secretly met with Wests Tigers heavies earlier this week.
Tigers management, and coach Michael Maguire, were spotted on a hit-and-run trip to Queensland to sit down with the two Broncos players.
The Concord club has been in the NRL market looking for top-end talent to boost a struggling roster and become a finals threat after a decade as an also-ran.
