Brisbane weather: Severe storms to hit region, including Gold Coast, according to BOM radar

Residents in parts of Queensland are being told to prepare for severe storms by the Bureau of Meteorology.

The state’s south east is bracing for the wild weather on Tuesday, which will end days of heatwave conditions.

The weather bureau says the storms could bring damaging winds, heavy rainfall and potentially large hail.

Storms are expected around midday across south east Queensland’s inland region.

They are also possible in the Gulf Country.

Brisbane is forecast for a maximum of 31 degrees…
