Brisbane to turn pink to honour Hannah Clarke and her children
“That includes the City Hall, the (Sir Thomas Brisbane Planetarium’s) tropical dome, Reddacliff Place, the Story Bridge, Victoria Bridge and also the Roma Street and South Bank Parklands.
“So when you see those colours, remember Hannah and her beautiful children and remember that we must stop domestic violence.”
Cr Schrinner said people should familiarise themselves with the work of the foundation set up by Ms Clarke’s family, Small Steps 4 Hannah.
“It was set up to achieve things that will change our city for the better,” he said.
Cr Schrinner said he was encouraged by the work that had gone into shaping legislation to make coercive control a criminal offence.
