Brisbane teenagers secure lucrative US university scholarships to play American football

In a state born and bred on rugby league, it is rare to find young Queenslanders who prefer to play American football instead.

But one Brisbane club is making waves in the United States, developing promising gridiron players who are setting their sights on the NFL.

Teenagers Jack Low and Jordan Spasojevc-Moko have both signed lucrative contracts with American colleges worth nearly $500,000 each.

Between them, they have caught the attention of scouts from more than 25 American colleges.
