BRISBANE SIEGE: Sunnybank hostage situation continues through the night and into a second day

A siege in Brisbane’s south has continued into the night and into the next day.
Specialist officers are negotiating with an armed man believed to be holding a five-year-old hostage.
The stand-off at a property near Banoon Station, near Sunnybank, started about 11am on Thursday.
Queensland Police have made an emergency declaration for an area bounded by Dyson Avenue, Geddes Place, Beenleigh Road and Ganda Place.
