Brisbane River boat tragedy leaves one dead after crash near private jetty at Chelmer

One person has been confirmed dead after a boat crashed near a private jetty in Chelmer on the Brisbane River.
Two adults and a child were also taken to hospital, where they all remain in a stable condition.
Emergency services were called to the jetty at around 4.40pm following reports of a crash.
A small tinny reportedly ran aground near the private jetty and at least one of the four occupants were ejected.
Forensic teams are investigating how this tragedy unfolded.
