Brisbane prisoner died after hiding bag of drugs inside her body: Coroner
A clip-seal bag was retrieved from her vagina and testing confirmed it contained five milligrams of pure methylamphetamine.
Ms Miller’s criminal history included a history of drug abuse. Her offending began in 1994, and was relatively consistent, according to the coronial inquest.
She was convicted of manslaughter in 2007 and sentenced to seven years’ jail. She was trying to leave an abusive relationship when the offence occurred.
On April 20, 2018, Ms Miller was pulled over by police. During a search of her handbag, officers found two used syringes, according to the coronial inquest findings.
