Brisbane police officer bitten while reportedly attempting to seize dog
A police officer has been bitten by a dog in Brisbane.
The officer has been hospitalised after the attack in Lota about 2.15pm on Tuesday.
It’s believed he was bitten on the leg.
He is in Greenslopes Private Hospital in a stable condition.
The incident occurred after police were called to help the Brisbane City Council seize a dog.
Images posted online by the Wynnum Herald show at least three police cars outside a property on Coolana Street.
