Brisbane lockdown forces twist on camping trip plans

“We were all packed up, shopping done and everything, then on Friday morning the announcement
came out so my fiancee just suggested to camp in the backyard this time,” he said.
“We did everything the same as we usually do, just in the backyard.
“A big part of our trip is usually the campfire, and cooking on the campfire, and you can do all of this
in your backyard.
“Obviously it’s not exactly the same, so it’s quite a new experience, and it was quite interesting and
exciting.
“It felt like we went camping somewhere different because we’ve never camped there before.”
