Brisbane will be sweating on the scans to young star Cameron Rayner who went down with a suspected ACL injury during the Lions’ pre-season hit out against the Gold Coast Suns.
Rayner was attempting to smother a handball during the second quarter when he landed awkwardly and immediately grabbed for his knee.
The 21-year-old former No.1 draft pick was reduced to tears as he struggled to get up off the turf, with the club’s trainers forced to help him walk to the changerooms.
