Brisbane e-scooter rider dies after hitting post on West End footpath

An e-scooter rider was overtaking a push bike on a inner-Brisbane footpath moments before he crashed and died, police believe.

The man in his 50s died after losing control over his vehicle and hitting a pole at Riverside Drive in West End on Monday morning.
