Redcliffe Dolphins club chairman Bob Jones has declared the organisation is ready to become the NRL’s next expansion team and he already has a legendary coach in mind.
Tuesday marked the official opening of the northern grandstand of Dolphin Stadium and Jones took the opportunity to brand Redcliffe as NRL-ready with the new stadium complete and assets reported to be worth over $100 million.
We are now NRL-ready, and when I say ready we are ready to go tomorrow if the NRL needs us, Jones said.
