Brisbane COVID cluster grows, but no lockdown for now

Queensland has recorded one new case of community transmission, the latest in a growing COVID-19 cluster.
The man is the brother of the 26-year-old man from the Brisbane suburb of Stafford, who tested positive to the highly infectious UK strain on Thursday.
Chief Health Officer Jeannette Young said he is believed to be the “missing link” between the doctor who worked at the Princess Alexandra Hospital and tested positive in early March and the recent cluster.
Dr Young said he had the virus a while ago and had actually passed it on to his 26-year-old brother.
“This gentleman is perfectly well, fully recovered and was picked up through our contact tracing process,” she said.
