Brisbane company wins European approval for rapid COVID-19 tests

A Brisbane-based firm has won approval from European regulators to sell its 15-minute COVID-19 rapid test.
The company, AnteoTech, has been given the Conformitè Europëenne Mark registration for its antigen rapid test, EuGeni.

The reusable test, which now meets crucial health and safety conditions in Europe and the United Kingdom, is expected to be used in mass testing programs such as concerts and sporting events.
The tests have not been approved for use in Australia.
