Brisbane authorities probe meat baiting probed as cause of death, illness of 20 magpies in Yeerongpilly

The deaths of a large number of magpies in a Brisbane suburb have raised suspicions of baiting.
Wildlife officials have found 20 dead or dying magpies in the inner-south suburb of Yeerongpilly in the space of a week.
They were alerted to the deaths by residents of O’Loan Street and surrounds.
