Brisbane airport bubble breach involved infected passenger: Queensland Health – Brisbane Times
A traveller who breached the “green zone” at Brisbane’s international airport on Thursday has tested positive for COVID-19.
Closed circuit television footage shows they spent most of that time in Hudsons cafe, had minimal interaction with other people and wore masks appropriately. The footage shows the table was also cleaned once they left.
Both passengers were tested again for COVID-19 after the breach was identified.
One mans initial test was equivocal, meaning it was neither positive nor negative. Further testing revealed he is positive. The other passenger is negative, Queensland Health said.
