Tears as all-time great faces unusual end of career
Brett Morris may have had his career ended by a torn ACL while in best-ever form.
That was the verdict from a trio of legends after the Sydney Roosters winger injured his knee in a win over Newcastle on Saturday night.
Morris was in tears after the match, consoled by his twin brother Josh in the dressing room. He had already scored 11 tries this season despite being 34 years-old, taking his career tally to 176.
