Brendale car crash leaves teens fighting for life

A car carrying five teenagers has crashed north of Brisbane, leaving an 18-year-old man and 16-year-old girl fighting for life.
All five teenagers were hospitalised after the car crashed into a tree at Brendale in the Moreton Bay region about 11pm on Sunday.
Police say the car failed to negotiate a turn on to South Pine Road and left the road.
The car was being driving by the 18-year-old man and was the only vehicle involved in the incident, police believe.
He is in a critical condition.
