#BREAKING | A massive 7.1 magnitude earthquake has struck off east Papa New Guinea. There is currently no tsunami threat for Australia, however a tsunami warning is current for Papa New Guinea.
The quake is 81km deep and reports of significant damage from surrounding areas. Some residents in Cairns and Townsville have reportedly felt the effects of the quake.
