Rugby league legend Brad Fittler says the inability for two Sydney teams to face off in a grand final would be a major drawback of the NRL’s mooted two-conference system.
The NRL is understood to have canvassed the idea with a number of clubs, with the plan receiving backing from the likes of Wayne Bennett and Phil Gould.
