Boy, 16, dies from stab wounds in Brisbane CBD overnight

A 16-year-old boy has been stabbed and killed on Thursday night in Brisbane’s CBD.

The boy was confronted by a man, who police believe was known to him, around 8pm, at Emma Miller Place, near Roma Street Station.

Police allege the man delivered a life-threatening wound to the boy’s stomach.

With the knife wound, the boy continued to walk towards King George Square, which was around 200m away.

He collapsed there.
