Sydneysiders who visited shopping centres on Boxing Day in hopes of snagging a bargain have been slammed after scenes of large crowds emerged on social media.
Videos posted to social media showed thousands of people packed into shopping centres across the city trying to take advantage of Boxing Day sales.
In Bondi Junction, shoppers were seen lining up outside stores.
In Homebush, queues of cars stretched for hundreds of metres as people waited patiently to get into DFO.
