Bottle Bend Reserve turned into thriving home for plants and wildlife

In the mid-2000s, there was little life to be found at Bottle Bend Reserve.

Located on the New South Wales side of the Murray River, on Kureinji and Barkindji country, near the regional centre of Mildura, the 1,650-hectare nature reserve was hit hard by the millennium drought.
