Bombers coach John Worsfold fumes as ‘massive’ free kicks spark heated Richmond diving debate – Fox Sports
Two Richmond defenders have both come under fire for staging incidents during their side’s Dreamtime win, one of which forced usually quiet Essendon coach John Worsfold to speak out.
The first saw Dylan Grimes accused of diving after a push from Jake Stringer during the second quarter, which cost Anthony McDonald-Tipungwuti a goal which wouldve put the Bombers up by 11 points.
The second involved Nick Vlastuin in a crucial moment in the final quarter, as he was handed a 50-metre penalty after being clipped by Bombers ruckman Tom Bellchambers.
