Body of man overboard found during search and rescue

The lifeless body of a man who went missing in a marine incident in central Queensland has been found.
Police were alerted of a man overboard at 11pm on Saturday in Rosslyn Bay in Yeppoon, about 35 kilometres from Rockhampton.
The Rescue 300 helicopter stayed overhead lighting the area for the ground units, then landed nearby on the beach when the body was found. Credit:RACQ Capricorn Rescue
A search and rescue operation, involving water police, the Yeppoon Coast Guard and a rescue helicopter, was triggered.
Just after 1am, the 40-year-old River Ranch man was found dead as the rescue party searched the shoreline.
