Body of man missing after midnight swim found in Mary River near Gympie
The body of a young man, who vanished during a midnight swim in the Mary River south of Gympie overnight, has been found just 80 metres from where he first disappeared.

Police divers joined the frantic search for the 20-year-old, who was trying to swim across waist-deep water in the river at Traveston Crossing Road, just after midnight, when he went underwater and did not resurface.
