Bodies of man and woman found in house in Bendigo suburb of California Gully

The bodies of a man and woman have been discovered inside a house in Bendigo.
Police officers found the bodies, in a house in Pearce Street in the suburb of California Gully, on Thursday afternoon.
Officers said they were working to formally identify the pair.
“The deceased are yet to be formally identified and the exact cause of the deaths are yet to be determined,” a statement from police said.
“Police are not looking for anyone else in connection to the incident at this stage.”
No further information has been provided.
Police cordoned off the street and detectives remained at the scene into the evening.
