Over almost a century, the Rich Lister’s life took in the rise of a small poultry farm into a national icon and vast property and horse-racing holdings.

And then there was the racing business. Ingham’s children recall their father working seven days a week, at least into his 60s.
But when Bob and Jack weren’t tending to chook hatcheries with rolled-up sleeves, they were at the trots, which later developed into a passion for gallopers.
