Patients with hematological malignancy (HM), and those with chronic lymphocytic leukemia (CLL) in particular, had significantly low immune responses to Covid-19 mRNA vaccines, a medical report said.
Thus, HM patients need to maintain non-pharmaceutical interventions such as mask-wearing and social distancing to prevent Covid-19, regardless of their vaccination status, it said.
