Birth rates will change dramatically in the post-pandemic world: study

New York, 24. Oktober (IANS): The Covid-19 pandemic is likely to profoundly affect our families, work lives, relationships and gender roles for years, say 12 prominent scientists who analyzed 90 research studies to assess the pandemic and its consequences. The study, published in the journal Proceedings of the National Academy of Sciences, found that planned pregnancies in a disease-ridden world will decline, birth rates will fall, and many couples will postpone marriages.
