MPs have written to the Government asking why the testing centre is closing while the city is on a Covid watchlist
It’s emerged that Birmingham’s drive-through coronavirus testing centre is to close – just as the city attempts to control a spike in Covid-19 cases and prevent a local lockdown.
The testing centre at Edgbaston cricket ground is to close this week. New sites will be opened at Birmingham Airport, which is in Solihull, and at Kelvin Way in West Bromwich.
