Billion-dollar Gabba redevelopment that ‘almost lost’ 2032 Games bid at heart of new Olympics funding fight

The Prime Minister’s right-hand man for the 2032 Olympics says there is no guarantee the Queensland Premier’s $1 billion redevelopment of the Gabba will be delivered as promised, as Labor state and Coalition federal governments nut out the details of their supposed 50-50 partnership.
