Big Oil’s climate defeats deepen risks for Australian producers – The Sydney Morning Herald
A dramatic escalation of climate pressure facing the world’s biggest oil giants has sparked warnings for the sector in Australia.

The Australian government estimates that our exports of liquefied natural gas (LNG) can help reduce emissions in importing countries by about 170 million tonnes a year, the equivalent of almost one-third of Australias total emissions, Australian Petroleum Production and Exploration Association chief Andrew McConville said.
